Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches using the cold process method to ensure that the benefits of the natural nutrients and emollients actually make it to your skin.

Our soaps do not contain harsh ingredients or detergents which can be harmful to the skin.A lot of commercial soaps are very drying to the skin as all the glycerine is removed during manufacture and sold separately to the cosmetics industry. Added to this is the presence of Soduim laureth sulphate, a detergent found in many soaps and other ingredients which can cause irritation to some people.

The benifit of Glycerine in a soap is that it softens and moisturizes the skin. Handmade soaps are particularly good in this respect as they retain all the glycerine produced during the saponifaction process of the soapmaking.It is this presence of glycerine in handmade soaps that set it on a higher level than soaps which are industrially made.

• Each bar begins with a high percentage of olive oil to which we add coconut oil.
• It is the coconut oil that produces the luxurious lather
• Some beeswax is added for hardness
• The colours we achieve come from nature in the form of plant root
extracts, ground seeds and petals.
• The soaps may contain natural exfoliants such a poppyseeds oatmeal,
flowers and orange rinds.
• Finally we scent our olive oil soap bars with only pure essential oils
extracted from plants.
